American Woodmark Corporation is a leading manufacturer of kitchen cabinets and vanities for the remodeling and new home construction markets. The company operates 15 manufacturing facilities located in Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, and 10 builder service centers across the country. A 16th plant is currently under construction in western Maryland.

American Woodmark was formed in 1980 and became a public company through a Common Stock offering in July 1986. Its shares are traded on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol "AMWD".

The Company offers a wide variety of cabinet lines, differing by design, material and finishes. Its products are sold on a national basis through a network of independent distributors, and directly to home centers, major builders and home manufacturers.

The Company is one of the three largest manufacturers of kitchen cabinets in the United States.
